Advent at St Peter's, Bromsgrove 2025

During Advent, we will have some extra events in the parish:
The annual Carol Service followed by refreshments
Anointing of the Sick followed by refreshments – this Mass is especially for anyone who is sick, advanced in years or unable to attend Mass regularly due to frailty.  Please consider bringing family and friends who cannot usually come to Mass.
Carols in School – all are welcome to come to our parish school after Mass for a concert from the children.  Eucharistic Adoration and Confessions - Catholics are obliged to go to confession at least once a year and Advent is a beautiful time to seek the Lord’s mercy.  Guidance on how to go to confession is available at the back of church and I am always happy to assist anyone who is less sure.
Friday evening Masses - to give those who cannot usually attend weekday Mass an opportunity to do so during Advent, we will have two Friday evening Masses preceded by Eucharistic Adoration and Confessions.  Please do consider taking up one or two of these opportunities during Advent to prepare your hearts for the joys of Christmas.

May God bless you during this holy season,
Fr Benedict
