Unrolling the scroll he found the place where it is written:

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me.
He has sent me to bring good news to the poor,
to proclaim liberty to captives
and to the blind new sight. to set the downtrodden free,
to proclaim the Lord's year of favour.

Luke 4:17-19

Whether you are a non Christian or a non Catholic, if you wish to learn about the Catholic Faith you are most welcome to attend our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) sessions. If you desire to become a Catholic please contact John Lally via the parish church. He will discuss the programme which this parish runs to help you discern and decide. The next programme will start in late September after the papal visit.

Ephesians 1:17-19

I pray that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power.
